Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to work in their leading facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:
- Staring salary of up £45,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, Days role, 40 hours per week
- Permanent position
- Overtime available with a bonus applied per shift picked up
- Free parking on-site

The Role - Maintenance Engineer:
- To diagnose faults and to test, repair, and maintain Mechanical equipment
- To complete Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management.
- Fault finding and responding to breakdowns promptly
- To complete breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site.
- To take part in meetings, supervision, and training as requested.
- All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field - ESSENTIAL
- Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL
- Electrical knowledge - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
- Experienced working with packaging machines - DESIRABLE
