An opportunity have arisen for a dedicated and committed midwife to join the maternity team working in antenatal clinic and maternity day care.

We are looking for midwives who already have a PIN number and are passionate about delivering high quality, safe care to women.
We have permanent contracts for enthusiastic midwives to provide care to women in the outpatient setting.
You will need to be versatile and have excellent communication skills. Team working is an essential part of the role.

This role doe not involve night duty but there is an expectation that the role will involve shift work, unsociable hours and weekend working as part of a rota.

Main duties of the job

The midwife will participate in high quality care for women and their families, also providing mentorship and professional support to enable students and maternity support workers to do the same. As an antenatal and daycare midwife you will have the opportunity to gain experience and maintain your skills within antenatal care .

The midwife works autonomously within Trust guidelines and sphere of professional practice with reference to departmental manager as appropriate.

The midwife will work within their sphere of practice in accordance with NMC codes of practice and professional guidelines.
