Our client is a leading wholesale distribution business With a workforce exceeding 1000 employees, they have a robust presence in the market and are well-known for their commitment to quality and innovation.

• Oversee the nightly operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, safety and productivity.
• Plan and coordinate the warehousing, distribution, and logistical framework.
• Manage stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods.
• Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and daily supervision.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance and improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Night Warehouse Manager should have:

• Be able to work Sunday to Thursday - 21:00 - 06:30
• Proven managerial experience in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commutable daily to Gloucester
