About the Role:

Are you a sports coach looking to take your passion for working with young people into the classroom? This could be the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for a sports coach with a background in basketball or other sports to become a full-time SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

Your ability to motivate, inspire, and guide will be invaluable in supporting a Year 5 student who needs help navigating school routines and improving their engagement with learning.

What You'll Bring:

Coaching Experience: A background in coaching, particularly basketball, with a focus on discipline, motivation, and building relationships.

Patience & Resilience: The ability to guide and support a student with additional needs, helping them build confidence and trust.

Mentorship Skills: Your experience motivating young athletes will translate perfectly into mentoring a student through their academic and social challenges.

Understanding of Development: Just as in coaching, you'll help the student develop, set goals, and work towards achieving them in a supportive, structured environment.

Eligibility Requirements:

Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)
