Support the Registered Nursing staff in providing assistance and personal care for patients at Rugby, St Cross Hospital part of University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. We have vacancies across both Trauma and Orthopaedics and our medical wards which include Care of the Elderly Medicine and Rehabilitation.

You must be aged 16 or over and have either a Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or equivalent qualification or have previous experience in a person-centred & public facing role.
Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW)-Band 2-£23,615 + enhancements.
Sponsorship is unable to be supported with this role.
As a band 2 HCSW you must have previous experience of working within a person-centred & public facing role or already hold a level 2 health and social care related qualification.
Full and Part Time Posts available. The salary will be pro rata for part time staff.

The Recruitment Centre:
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a Recruitment Centre. This Recruitment Centre is intended to show you what it’s really like to be a healthcare support worker, and to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate how you would provide excellent quality care to our patients and their families within a modern health care facility.
The Recruitment centre will involve a basic literacy test and if you are successful, you will go forward to assessments & interview. If you are successful at interview, and there isn’t a current vacancy that meets your needs, we’ll keep in touch and update you as jobs arise.If we are unable to allocate you to your requirements your application will be withdrawn.
