Commercial Finance Manager | Manchester | Hybrid Working | Paying up to £65k
A growing organisation within the energy and renewables sector is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join its team. This is a newly created role following a recent group restructure and investment, offering a fantastic opportunity to drive financial strategy and influence key decision-making.
The Role:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives
- Provide financial insights to support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Analyse financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare and present detailed management reports, including variance analysis and KPI dashboards
- Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and potential M&A activities
- Enhance financial planning systems and drive automation initiatives for improved efficiency
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance
- Ability to operate effectively in both SME and high-growth environments
- Experience in fast-paced industries, ideally within utilities, financial services, or renewables
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong understanding of management accounting practices
