Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you a friendly and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Newcastle? Teaching Personnel is looking for someone like you to support students in a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Help teachers deliver engaging lessons.
  • Support students one-on-one or in small groups to boost their learning.
  • Assist in maintaining positive classroom behavior.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to tailor learning approaches.
  • Provide extra help to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help prepare classroom materials.
  • Create a safe and inclusive space for all students.

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous school experience, ideally in primary or secondary settings.
  • A passion for helping children learn and grow.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to get one).
