Management Accountant

About Our Client

Our client based on the outskirts of Maidstone are seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This position is site based Monday to Friday and due to their remote location requires the successful candidate to have a full driving license.

• Completing various elements of the month end process, including analysing and investigating variances to forecast and budget, calculating month-end adjustments and reviewing activity for potential mistimed transactions.
• Lead to the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and cash flow forecast for the Group.
• Manage the statutory audit process, liaising with auditors and compiling the statutory audit working papers for submission.
• Preparation of financial reports and presentation thereof to senior management.
• Play a key part in delivering financial / reporting automation and systems development.
• Investigating/ identifying improvements to financial reports on an ongoing basis.

• Formally Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or a strong finalist looking to complete exams
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant
• Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient IT skills - MS Excel / SAGE / Power BI
• Previous experience within the construction industry is advantageous

• £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
