We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Stocktom-on-Tees.
The successful candidate will be working with children who have Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom.- Provide individual support to children with SEN, adapting learning materials and activities to meet their specific needs
- Assist with both academic and emotional development in a caring and supportive manner
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
- Ability to engage and motivate children with additional needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
