Location: Exeter and nearby townsPosition: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4, with opportunities for KS5)
⏰ Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible working available)
Salary: Competitive daily rates (£120–£180/day, dependent on experience).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., etc.).
- Experience: Proven ability to teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for English, with the ability to inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, innovative lesson planning, and a commitment to student progress.
- Flexibility: Adaptable to a variety of schools and student needs across Exeter and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and analysis, encouraging students to reach their potential.
- Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Address individual learning needs and promote confidence in English Language and Literature.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
