As a Behaviour Support Officer, you’ll be a key part of our dedicated team, helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural challenges.
- Implement and follow individualized behaviour plans to support students in managing their behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to ensure consistent behavioural strategies are in place.
- Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Promote positive behaviour across the school and encourage students’ social and emotional development.
- Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to wider school goals.

- Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing challenging situations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- A proactive, flexible attitude and a passion for student success.
