Job Description
Core Responsibilities- Understand project requirements and assist in building project programmes, considering budget and time constraints.
- Update and maintain project programmes, collecting periodic progress updates through interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the project team in driving project delivery according to the programme and business requirements.
- Assist in keeping projects on track by identifying critical activities and evaluating remedial actions.
- Prepare and update progress reports. Prepare reports as required (weekly, monthly, 4-week look ahead etc.)
- Attend internal meetings, and client meetings as required, to support the project team with programme related matters.
- Develop relationships with internal and external teams.
The Successful Applicant
Skills & Experience- MS Project, Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject experience
- At least 3 years' experience in an infrastructure sector e.g. construction, rail, telecoms, water, nuclear.
- Experience or understanding of commercial, contract and project management.
- Experience or understanding of:
- Design, engineering assurance and construction; (essential)
- Engineering / infrastructure / street works legislation and standards; (essential)
- Cost and commercial management; (essential)
- Risk management; (essential)
- Information management. (essential)
- Asset management.
- Experience of or ability to deal with projects that impact on the general public and other stakeholders.
- Experience of or ability to compile clear and concise technical and non-technical reports.
