Pangbourne College is seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant Director of Sport to manage girls hockey, football, and tennis, teach stimulating PE lessons through the school as well as drive success and inclusivity in girls sport. The applicant must be able to contribute to the teaching of both GCSE and A-Level/BTEC programmes, with the aim to act as subject lead for either GCSE Physical Education or Level 3 BTEC Sport.The successful candidate may also assume responsibility for Director of Hockey.
We welcome applications from candidates in either the state or independent sectors. A management allowance and timetable remission will be given to support the successful applicant to fulfil the requirements of the role. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a passion for sport and the ability to contribute to the wider College community.There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will contribute to the Saturday fixture programme.
