Reed Accountancy Norwich is seeking an organised and detail-driven Accounts Assistant for a fixed-term contract. This role is based in Norwich within a small, supportive finance team—perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their workload and getting involved in a broad mix of accounts tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting a wide range of financial activities.
- Monthly payroll processing.
- Raising purchase orders and managing new supplier set-up.
- Daily goods receipt processing.
- Maintaining key controls reporting.
- Internal and external statistical reporting.
- Supporting annual sustainability and tax reporting.
- Supporting ad hoc tasks at the request of senior finance leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience in payroll processing and general accounts administration.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of various financial tasks.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
