As a Children’s Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes emotional, social, and educational development while ensuring all safeguarding and care standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for children and young people in a residential homeEncourage independence, personal growth, and positive life choices
Assist with daily routines, education, and recreational activities
Ensure safeguarding procedures and care plans are followed
Work closely with a team to create a safe and structured environment
Requirements
Experience working with children in a residential, social care, or support role preferred but not essentialA passion for supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
Strong communication, patience, and resilience
Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
A relevant qualification in Childcare, Health & Social Care, or equivalent desirable but not essential
