The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and related technologies. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the IT team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of IT capabilities and services.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with global teams, with a focus on the UK entity.
- Advocate for business needs within the IT team and ensure effective prioritisation of requests and issues.
- Manage escalation processes effectively, ensuring that priorities are directed to the right individuals in a timely manner.
- Oversee and balance workload across IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of projects and services.
- Provide basic understanding and clarification on IT infrastructure, networking, and technology for stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations, and ensure that IT solutions align with business objectives.
- Enable a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas of opportunity within IT service delivery and business interactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and technology concepts is essential; no specialised technical expertise required.
- Previous experience at a service desk or customer support function is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on time management and workload balancing.
