The Customer Service Manager will lead the Customer Service & Order Management teams, along with process improvement and systems / channel implementation projects
Job Description- Lead, motivate and inspire the Customer Service & Order Management function responsible for delivering world class service to global B2B customers
- Create process standardisation across UK & International sites to allow a consistent and efficient approach to delivering a great customer journey
- Identify and drive ways to improve the customer supply chain from order processing through to delivery
- Reduce manual order processing through automation and implementation of new process, procedures and channels
- Work closely with production and planning to understand upcoming challenges, customer demand and best manage customer orders
- Create a proactive culture of working with customers, informing customers of potential changes and amendments to their orders
- Through regular review, identify ways to improve the end to end customer journey through process mapping and continuous improvement activities that will increase customer satisfaction and efficiency
- Work with ERP & EDI systems to maximise outputs and efficiency to support CS
- Work with in house and 3rd party logistics providers to ensure dispatch plan is effective and in line with customer expectations
- Experience in leadership role focused of customer service / order management
- Experience within a manufacturing or supply focused business
- Experience working with or implementing ERP systems
- Strong people leader and motivator
- Ability to drive process and continuous improvement activities
- Understanding of end to end order management
- Extensive stakeholder management experience

The role of Customer Service Manager will join a market leading manufacturer on their site in the North East.
The role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 plus exceptional benefits including generous car allowance & private medical insurance. Further benefits will be disclosed upon application.
