Temporary up to 1 year
30 hours per week
The Business Support Team provides administrative support to a range of front-line services and teams within the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate across both Adults and Childrens Social Care.
You will assist in providing clerical support to the Early Help Service area within Children’s Social Care. You will be based in our MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) service, which is the single point of contact for all professionals and citizens to raise safeguarding concerns.Your duties will involve processing, updating and retrieving information from the Social Care Service Database and electronic document management system, and dealing with telephone queries from members of the public and partner agencies.
You will need to be a strong team player with excellent ICT skills, an experience of using Microsoft Office products, these skills supported by a good standard of education is essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.An experience of using information and administrative systems would be an advantage. In addition, the role also requires good analytical skills, self-motivation and good multi-tasking skills.

A vetting check by South Wales Police is a requirement for this post.
