Staff Nurse - Outpatients | University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Outpatient Nursing Team. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking nurse to join our Outpatient Assessment Centre and outpatient department.. We are looking for someone with experience knowledge of wound care.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and organisational skills and a drive to promote a high standard of care for our patients.
Applicants should have experience of:- Acute nursing
- complex wound care
- Taking charge of an area in the absence of the Senior Nursing staff.
- Assisting in the organisation of work as required.
- Supervising, mentoring & preceptorship of students and unqualified staff.
- Working effectively and efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining a suitable and stimulating learning environment for all staff.
Previous experience of Outpatient Nursing is desirable but not essential. Outpatients at Poole Hospital is a forward thinking and innovative department with opportunity to extend your surgical and dressing skills.
This role requires NMC Registration.
