The Director of Strategy, Policy and Analysis provides strategic leadership covering a range of work and teams - agency strategy, agency analysis (statistics, management information and other economist/ analyst functions), policy activity within the agency as well as providing oversight regulation of the insolvency practitioner profession. Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the successful delivery of the agency strategy and business plan by identifying and prioritising key deliverables.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Lead our analysis functions to ensure our strategies, plans, and targets are data-led. Ensure national insolvency statistics are produced, and that analytical and economic resources inform policy development and evaluation.
- Policy Development: Oversee the development of insolvency policy and legislation to support government and agency priorities.
- Regulatory Oversight: Manage the Insolvency Service’s regulatory oversight functions on behalf of the Secretary of State.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Ministers, the CEO, and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to deliver on government and agency priorities for the insolvency regime.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the stakeholder community to understand their issues and ensure they are addressed in policy and regulatory changes.
- Executive Leadership: As a member of the Executive Leadership Team and Executive Committee, take on leadership responsibilities alongside other executives across the Insolvency Service. Report directly to the Chief Executive.
