The business has enjoyed continuous and steady growth and has built and sustained a stable client base both as a main contractor and sub-contractor over a wide range of services including social housing, insurance works, schools, NHS and more.

The successful Supervisor must have a full UK Driving Licence, be an excellent communicator with the ability to enthuse, motivate and negotiate. Ideally you will have experience in leading teams in facility management, void & planned works, responsive repairs, small building projects and have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities

As a contracts manager, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding deadlines under pressure as well as delivering on the following objectives.
  • Ability to supervise, including monitoring and reporting of employee performance
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively between the office staff, operatives and the client
  • Completing Pre and Post property inspections.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft programmes, including Outlook and Excel, & have the ability to work remotely via Smartphone or Tablet (supplied by Sovereign)
  • Responsible for making sure that all trade operatives adhere to the H+S Regulations
  • Responsible for providing an overview of completed work to the office Managers
  • You will need to ensure best practice prevails throughout the contract's activities.
  • By reporting into your relevant Manager, you will have an input into the management and development of operational staff & promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the work quality and efficiencies of operatives in executing their daily targets and ensure necessary data is captured and submitted back to the office.
  • Adhere to stated company policies and procedures and carry out all duties in a way which is consistent with, and which promotes Solidus values.
