Your new company
Reporting into the Financial Controller a growing business in Newton Abbot are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work in a busy finance department. The role will oversee the whole Accounts Payable process, also bank reconcilaitions and supplier liaison.
Your new role
The main duties of the role are as follows;Process and review supplier invoices for processing.
Assist the accounts payable and accounts receivable function.
Ensure all payment runs are complete
Bank reconciliations
Enter the financial date onto the accounting system.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
Prepare VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous accounting experience and hold an AAT level qualification. Knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero would be a bonus. At interview, you will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
