Position: Financial AccountantContract Type: Temporary
Location: Just a 7-minute walk from Staines train station
Hourly Rate: £28 - £32 per hour
Contract Length: 3 - 6 months
Start Date: March 3, 2025
End Date: June 3, 2025 (TBC)
Working Pattern: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial accounts and finance systems
- Leading the preparation of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns
- Managing day-to-day finance team operations
- Overseeing purchase ledger, payroll, and revenue accounting
- Managing the monthly ledger close process, including journal postings and reconciliations
- Coordinating the annual external audit process with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining and accurately recording the fixed asset register
- Handling rent and service charge accounting, including annual increases and arrears reporting
- Submitting regulatory returns in a timely manner, including NROSH SDR and Charity Commission returns
- Overseeing the monthly payroll process to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
- Implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
