Science Teacher
A secondary school in Oldham OL4 is urgently looking for a Science teacher to cover a long-term absence in their department. The successful candidate will join the school on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for a permanent role in September 2025.
You’ll teach General Science across KS3 and your specialism at KS4, with full planning and marking responsibilities under the guidance of the Head of Science. The school is known for high academic expectations and a calm, structured environment.
Well located near Lees and Saddleworth, the school is easily reached via the M62, Metrolink, and local bus routes.
You will need:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science up to GCSE
- Commitment to full-time teaching until July
- Strong classroom presence and excellent subject knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
