Your new responsibilities- Provide comprehensive support to one Director and potential team support.
- Anticipate needs and proactively suggest potential meetings and new ideas.
- Assist the Head of the Executive Chair's private office, who has been with UKRI for 4 years.
- Manage briefings, take minutes, and ensure all necessary information is accurate and reviewed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR regulations.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with three other EAs and one Executive Support Assistant.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within charity, government, or corporate sectors.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure environment with a high volume of work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR.
- Not an animal rights activist, due to the nature of the research involving animal testing.
- Long-term commitment to the role.
- Familiarity with the structure and operations of government-funded research organisations.
