Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and meticulous individual to join a market leading business as an Accounts Assistant. This role offers the chance to support the Accountant/Accounts function in all aspects of the department.

What you'll do:

• Provide comprehensive support to the Accountant/Accounts function
• Handle general accounts administration tasks such as dealing with correspondents, filing, and updating records
• Manage balance sheet controls effectively
• Take charge of credit control within the department
• Ensure accurate reconciling of accounts on a regular basis
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the department

What you'll bring:

• Proven background in accounts with a good understanding of the role
• Experience working within a Car Dealership would be beneficial but not essential
• AAT qualification would be preferable but not essential
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage balance sheet controls effectively
• Experience in credit control and account reconciliation
