Hours of Post: 35 hours per weekWorking Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time onlySalary Grade: Scale 3, points 5 to 6 - £24,790 to £25,183 FTE (depending on experience) (salary will be pro rata to term time hours)

We are looking for a proactive and self motivated Administration Assistant to join our busy school office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for providing excellent administrative support within a vibrant primary school environment.
As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and telephone enquiries, your role is key to creating a warm and professional impression of our school. You will work closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, and other school staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
About the Role
You will be responsible for: Providing a wide range of administrative support
Managing front-of-house duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling queriesMaintaining accurate pupil records using SIMS
Supporting daily school operations and communications

A confident communicator, both written and verbal
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a school administrative role is desirable
Excellent knowledge of SIMS (essential)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Ability to work with high levels of confidentiality and discretion
Team player with a flexible and positive attitude
