7.5 Tonne Driver

We are looking for flexible 7.5T drivers to join our team. We have earlies, afternoons and night shifts available with immediate starts at this prestigious site in Newcastle, offering excellent rates of pay.

Shifts offered a week in advance, weekly rota provided with start times and expected finish times for a better work/life balance. Availability on weekends is essential.

We are currently recruiting drivers for shift patterns on days or nights but at least one weekend day must be worked.

We are the main supplier of drivers to our client Royal Mail, which is the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, supporting customers, businesses and communities around the country. As a 7.5T driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Distribution centres and offices/businesses this is not a residential delivery role.

There will be loading and unloading, which entails pulling pushing twisting and lifting. There is also paperwork to complete and hand-held scanners to use.

This will be multi-site working from Newcastle & Teesside.

Due to the nature of our client’s business, you will be required to clear a DBS security check following the point of registration.

To meet entry requirements, you will have:
