Your new role
You will join our technical team and work with other technologists to develop and improve rubber compounds. Your responsibilities will include:- Collecting raw materials from the warehouse or shop floor.
- Accurately weighing ingredients according to precise recipes.
- Mixing materials to create lab batches of rubber
- Preparing test samples.
- Conducting tests to meet specifications.
- Creating reports and sharing results with the technical department.
- Testing of production compound properties.
- Reporting results in the system and passing off batches if in specification.
- Reporting any out of specification/rejects.
- Working closely with laboratory supervisors, production and technical on any issues during production runs.

What you'll need to succeed- Strong skills in technology and material handling.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.* A keen eye for detail, especially in testing and reporting results.* Experience of weighing and mixing ingredients.
