Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality components to exact specifications.

The Machine Operator role is offering a Temporary to Permanent contract.

Paying £12.21 - £12.50 depending on experience

Working full time Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities for the Machine Operator:

• Operate machines such as CNC lathes, pillar drills, linishers and hand tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

To be a successful Machine Operator:

• Previous experience operating metalworking machinery CNC, pillar drills, linishers, grinders
• Strong understanding of mechanical processes and tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required
