We are looking to appoint a Consultant to further develop our services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Joining our team of 16 Consultants, you will provide high quality services for patients across North Derbyshire and the surrounding area.

Applicants will be expected to have completed broad based training along with specific specialty training and to have gained a CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or be within six months of obtaining this.

This post will have a fertility component embedded and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to antenatal clinics either as a specialist or general obstetrician, alongside gynaecology.

Provision of assessments, care and treatment of emergency patients presenting to the Maternity and Gynaecology department is expected and you have the ability to work as an effective team member, providing clinical leadership, and engaging with multi-disciplinary working.

You will also contribute to non-clinical roles, across quality improvement, leadership, management and governance domains.
