Join our team as a Teacher of H&SC and Applied Science at JLC!

Our Allied Health department is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed person to join our award-winning College. The role will be to Teach Health and Social Care and Applied Science to Year 1 and Year 2 students at A Level and BTEC.

The college currently offers a wide range of courses dependent on strengths: Health and Social Care BTEC Extended Certificate, Diploma and Extended Diploma at Level 3, Access to HE Diploma (Health Professionals), Childcare Level 2 and 3, T Level Health and Social Care; and we have Applied Science courses, including BTEC Level 3 Applied Science Extended Certificate and Diploma; and BTEC Level 2 Applied Science Principles and Application.

You will teach across our Allied Health department, with a focus on Health and Social Care and Applied Science. The role offers flexibility and is anticipated to be around 0.4 FTE Health and Social Care and 0.2 FTE Applied Science, with scope to adjust depending on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.

The department is located in the science block sharing with the physical science team and skilled technicians for both areas helping with collaborative working across teams. Salary: Teacher PT 1-9 (£33,465 - £51,714) Suitable for Early Career Teaching, depending on qualifications and experience.
