An Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Richmond is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join their permanent staff team from April 2025. The Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and participate in department meetings
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement
Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience of teaching Maths in a secondary school setting (including ECTs)
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
