Job Duties:
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the classroom by helping to prepare materials, assist with classroom activities, and provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help. They may also supervise students during break times and support with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
Education:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of the national curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
Working Conditions:
The Teaching Assistant will primarily work within a school setting, assisting teachers and students during school hours. They may also be required to attend meetings and training sessions outside of regular school hours.
