Senior Housing Support and Resettlement Worker

Permanent - 36 Hours per week (6-week rolling rota including early starts – 7:30am – and late finishes – 8:30pm, and weekend work) Some working from home possible.Everything we do aims to positively impact the lives of our social housing tenants and deliver on what matters to them and their communities. As part of our Housing Management Contract team, ForFutures, you’ll support the Northwich and Winsford manager with the delivery of temporary and supported accommodation in the area. You’ll contribute to transformation within accommodation services and ensure customers are given person-centred support.

- Implementing clear procedures to provide temporary/supported accommodation.
- Supporting customers to move on into independent living.
- Collaborating with Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Housing Options team, and other external agencies.
- Gathering data to identify areas for improvement.
- Participating in customer support planning and review meetings.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Understanding of homelessness legislation and practice.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Experience of supervising colleagues.
