Role: Test Rig Support Technician.
Salary: £38,624.
Role: Test Rig Support Technician.
Salary: £38,624.56 including 20 shift premium
Hours: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm on an alternating weekly basis
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintain oil cleanliness filter systems to enhance the operational efficiency of test rigs.
Calibration & Documentation: Organise and execute calibration of test rig instrumentation, keep detailed records on CMMS, and develop SOPs.
Organising calibration of test rig master instrumentation and ensuring all equipment meets required standards.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of test rigs in accordance with 5S standards.
Relevant certifications such as BFPA Hydraulics courses and IOSH Managing Safely.

What You'll Be Doing:
Fault Diagnosis & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep test rigs running smoothly.Routine Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintain oil cleanliness filter systems to enhance the operational efficiency of test rigs.
Calibration & Documentation: Organise and execute calibration of test rig instrumentation, keep detailed records on CMMS, and develop SOPs.
Process Improvement: Support the TPM schedule, monitor oil consumption, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Performing routine oil cleanliness checks and maintaining filter systems.Organising calibration of test rig master instrumentation and ensuring all equipment meets required standards.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of test rigs in accordance with 5S standards.
Monitoring and fixing leaks, managing fixturing and equipment, and ensuring operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Electrical knowledge and experience with instrumentation systems.Relevant certifications such as BFPA Hydraulics courses and IOSH Managing Safely.
Knowledge of CAD, SAP, and experience with TPM processes.
