Salary: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Birmingham (B16).
If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and are committed to making a positive impact on their educational journey, we'd love to hear from you!- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), adapting teaching methods to meet each student's specific needs.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to foster a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Monitor and record progress, offering feedback to the teaching team and parents as required.
- Help maintain a safe and organised classroom setting.
- Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant is advantageous.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to supporting children with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow the direction of teaching staff.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support would be beneficial.
