- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our cloud engineering initiatives, aligned with our business objectives and industry trends.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Design and architect scalable and secure cloud services that provide a foundation for our applications and services, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Implement best practices and standards for cloud operations, including infrastructure provisioning, automation, monitoring, and security.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud capabilities into our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, infrastructure trends, and industry best practices to continuously enhance our cloud capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to align cloud engineering initiatives with our overall business goals and digital transformation strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams, ensuring they adhere to cloud engineering and operations best practices throughout the technology lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with cloud service providers, technology partners, and industry experts to leverage their knowledge and expertise in enhancing our cloud infrastructure.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and evaluate their potential applications to drive innovation and improve efficiency within our cloud environment.
What You Will Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in platform engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing IaaS services.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies and IaaS offerings from major cloud service providers (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Expertise in infrastructure design, deployment, and management, including networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and techniques, such as infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, infrastructure management, or related areas are highly desirable.
