Job overview
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Advanced Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical and SDEC team. The candidate must have completed an MSc in Advanced Nurse Practice and has extensive experience in caring for acute surgical patients.They will be expected to work autonomously and as part of the surgical team. The post holder will work within the context of a MDT and will need to demonstrate robust leadership and management skills in the context of the role.
Main duties of the job
This role will require the SCP to working against the 4 pillars of advanced practice. It is essential that the successful candidates have proven advanced and professional development. Research and the delivery of education to a multi-professional and nursing audience will also be expected as part of the role.
The successful applicant will be expected to work their shift patterns across seven days and will be supported with supervision and training opportunities.
