Job Description

The In-House Property Solicitor will be:

• Managing relationships with panel solicitors to ensure value for money.
• Handling conveyancing for property acquisitions, shared equity, and sales.
• Overseeing housing matters including; complex tenancy issues, possession proceedings, and coordinating with external legal providers as needed.
• Reviewing and preparing contractual documents for various in-house projects.
• Keeping the leadership team informed about legislative changes.
• Maintaining records of land ownership and deeds.
• Providing legal training to staff and board members.
• Managing members of the team.

The Successful Applicant

The In-House Property Solicitor should be:

• A Solicitor or equivalent with experience in property and housing law.
• Proficient in conveyancing and litigation processes.
• Skilled in managing external legal relationships.
• Knowledgeable about current housing legislation and compliance.
• Experienced in training and mentoring legal staff.
• Holder of a valid driving license with access to a vehicle.

• Competitive salary between £50,000-£60,000.
