We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients forward-thinking business in the manufacturing sector on a Part-Time basis. They are seeking a motivated individual to support their financial operations and help drive our success.

Position Overview: As the Company Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating closely with external accountants on specific tasks. Your contributions will be essential to the financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales and purchases, into our accounting system.
  • Manage accounts receivable by issuing invoices and tracking payments.
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of bills and expenses.
  • Reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with financial reporting and provide data to external accountants for year-end procedures.
  • Collaborate with external accountants on specific tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and timely for financial reviews and audits.
  • Support the management team by providing insights on financial performance as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
