Personal Care Assistant required in BS14
Female personal care assistant’s required to support woman with disabilities living in Whitchurch. Support required with an overnight shift and some daily living tasks.The shifts are as follows:Tuesday night (10pm to 7 am) = 9 hoursWednesday morning (7am to 1pm) = 6 hoursTotal number of hours – 15 hours
Rate of pay is £12.00 p/h day rate and £12.00 p/h night rate, statutory annual leave, Pension.
Daytime Tasks: will include: preparing breakfast and drinks (Tea/Coffee), washing up.
Waking Night Tasks: support when having a seizure, occasional support with incontinence after a seizure. Some personal care may be required when I become unwell and may soil myself. Previous experience of managing epileptic seizures or epilepsy training is highly desirable.
Training will be provided in relation to the seizures and First Aid.Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
