An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic nurse to join our well-established specialist respiratory nurse team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation trust.

The current team provide specialist respiratory care throughout the Bristol site, across inpatient and outpatient services, to patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

We are seeking a nurse with a good understanding of long-term respiratory conditions, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within the supportive environment of a forward thinking and experienced team.

This is a full-time permanent position.

As a specialist respiratory nurse, you will be providing holistic care including assessment, planning and treatment as well as advice and support to patients with respiratory conditions. You will also act as a resource to hospital staff and other healthcare professionals requiring specialist input.

You will work alongside the established team to enhance your current level of practice whilst supporting you to develop your confidence and ability to independently review patients and make decisions.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork are imperative for this post. If you are highly motivated and looking for an exciting new direction, this could be the job for you!
