Bosworth is a relatively small school of approximately 200 students, the majority of whom are boarders from overseas, though the

school has a small cohort of day students who benefit from being at a school that is proudly international in character. We pride ourselves

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work as a member of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Bosworth Independent School. The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is a fantastically well-resourced group of experienced and committed teachers who strive to ensure that the subjects taught within the scope of the department are vibrant subjects across the school.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Understanding of the importance of Safeguarding in schools, including familiarity with key policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrably strong subject knowledge in a relevant subject area.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
  • Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
