We’re looking for an early career Client Account Executive to join us with room to learn and grow. You’ll be the first person many of our prospective clients speak to, and you will maintain relationships with many of them over time.

Role Summary

As a Client Account Executive at Mesma, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow our customer base by promoting our software products and associated advisory services. You’ll identify new opportunities and support existing client relationships, understanding customer needs and providing solutions that add real value.

This role is ideally suited to someone with 18 months+ experience in sales or service, with a keen interest in technology, who is looking to develop into a holistic client account executive position.

You’ll develop to being involved at all stages of the sales and account management process. As the business grows, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the development of our sales and customer growth practices. The ability to embrace change will help you to succeed as we evolve, with opportunities to be directly involved in shaping our approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and current clients.
  • Deliver the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead qualification, product demonstrations, proposal development and closing.
  • Understand and communicate the value of Mesma’s software and advisory offer to a range of stakeholders online and at in-person events.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries and proactively generate leads via outreach and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using Mesma’s CRM tools and follow agreed campaign timelines.
  • Contribute to client onboarding and ongoing support, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to service.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and client success strategies.
  • Keep up to date with the education and employment support sectors, SaaS trends, and developments in regulatory and quality management practices.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and solutions to different audiences.
  • Proactive approach to learning and using new technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for the role technology increasingly plays for clients.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage your time across multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined whilst working from home to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Ability to travel to occasional trade events.

Desirable:

  • 18 months+ experience in a customer-facing role. Familiarity with selling/ supporting software tools or cloud-based software.
  • Awareness of the education and/or employment support sectors in the UK.

Entry Requirements

We welcome applications from individuals with:

  • GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or completion of a Level 2-6 Apprenticeship, or relevant experience in sales or customer service.

Training and Progression

This role offers a structured development path and the opportunity to undertake professional training as part of an approved apprenticeship programme at a suitable point.
