As a more experienced Pharmacist you will provide mentoring, training and development for more junior colleagues. To ensure implementation of safe and efficient repeat prescribing systems You will be part of a professional clinical network and will have access to appropriate clinical supervision as outlined in the Network Contract DES guidance where appropriate.
You will support patients to take their medications to get the best from them, reduce waste and promote self-care. In your leadership role you will be supporting further integration of general practice with the wider healthcare teams (including community and hospital pharmacy) to help improve patient outcomes, ensure better access to healthcare and help manage general practice workload.
Health and safety/risk management The jobholder must comply at all times with the practices Health and Safety policies, in particular by following agreed safe working procedures and reporting incidents using the practices Risk Incident Reporting System.
