The Oxfordshire mental health urgent care pathway have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the team as Business and Improvement Manager.

This a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the services within the pathway. The post holder will support service improvement, performance data management, business and operational functions, and administrative support.

Working closely with the Service Manager and Team Managers to improve existing services, develop new initiatives, and ensure robust data and performance recording.

The post holder will be the line manager and lead developmental responsibility for all administrative staff within the Mental Health Urgent Care Pathway.

Main duties of the job

You'll need great communication and time keeping skills to support the team and work alongside a wide range of professionals to ensure we continually develop and improve.

Some of the key duties include:

  • All aspects of line management and professional leadership of administration staff within the pathway.
  • Ensure administration procedures and processes are in place and followed.
  • Support the Service Manager and Team Managers with administrative tasks.
  • Work closely with full range of staff and stake holders when developing new models of care and approaches to service delivery.
  • Supporting the Service Manager and Team Managers to ensure processes are standardised, SOP's are in place and to maintain the pathway risk register.
  • Collect, analyse, and present key performance and operational data to support evidence-based decision-making within the pathway.
  • Identify gaps in data recording and service performance, producing reports and delivering training where necessary to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Act as a key point of contact for service-related business functions, supporting the resolution of operational challenges.
