Management Accountant
Your new company
Our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday 9am - 5.30pm and there is flexibility offered with these start and finish times. The organisation offers hybrid working and once training has been completed, 1 day per week is required in the office.The office is based in Glasgow city centre and very accessible by public transport.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working as part of a team of 6, the Management Accountant will undertake a range of duties, related to taking ownership of the management accounting for a busy & well-established business unit. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to; end-to-end management of the P&L, revenue accounting, project accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, liaison with internal and external stakeholders and all general associated duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be comfortable undertaking monthly management accounts, reconciliations and the end-to-end management of a P&L. You will be a professional and personable communicator as you will liaise with stakeholders at all levels via telephone, in meetings and via email.You will have a team player attitude and also be able to work from your own initiative.
