The opportunity
As a Teacher within Sports, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities that are tailored to the development of Sports and Sports & Exercise Science. We have strong links with industry including competitions in partnerships with the local community, as well as the opportunity to be involved in our Sports Academy.
We are looking for a highly motivated, learner focused, inspirational individual to strengthen our outstanding team as a Teacher within Sports. This is an exciting time to join the team and provide support to our students at this critical time in their education.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of teaching and learning activities, promote independent learning outside of the classroom, and provide additional extended 1:1 group learning and study activities across the curriculum areas.
This post would suit a teacher that can quickly build rapport with students, using a variety of assessment techniques and keep accurate records of attendance and progress. As an Sports Teacher, you would play a vital role in supporting our student’s achievement and contributing to them progressing to further education, employment and promising futures.
We are looking for someone who can work with students and can challenge them to achieve their full potential and accepting nothing other than outstanding outcomes and levels of performance.

About you
We are looking for somebody that can quickly build rapport with students using a variety of assessment techniques and keep accurate records of attendance and progress. As a teacher you would play a vital role in supporting our student’s achievement and contributing to them progressing to further education employment and promising futures.
The ability to build and maintain strong community links in order to enrich our study programmes is vital. Within this role you will teach and lead on a variety of subjects covering sports coaching, leadership along with organising sports events.
You will need to work well as part of a team (reporting to Course Leaders) along with the ability to use initiative to lead within the classroom and out during community focussed events.
