Principal Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £55-£70/hr Umbrella
Location: Warrington - Hybrid available
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- An engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Experience managing multi discipline teams
- Strong communication skills
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartership status
Role information:
- Manage teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of engineering work
- Supervise engineers and technical specialists
- Liaise with stakeholders to build business relationships, resolve technical issues and ensure clients are informed on progress
- Ensure engineering output is inline with the delivered scope
- Produce and review calculations, analyses, technical reports, specifications and method statements
- Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to all engineering activities
- Ensure health and safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
- Manage resource demands to meet the needs of the work scopes
